“God can use difficulties for our growth”

This coronavirus crisis caused us to see, not only the uncertainties of life, but also the faithfulness of God.  He has shielded us from the dangers of the virus and has seen us through the difficulties brought about by the restrictions imposed on us by the government to prevent the spread of the virus.  Thank the Lord for His sustaining grace, guidance, as well as protection.

The CSI community, during this time of quarantine, has also experienced the faithfulness of God.  We thank Him for enabling us, members of the community, to fulfill our respective roles as we carried out the mandate of the school.  Congratulations are in order to the students, who studied hard to finish all the requirements, despite the challenges of online learning; the parents who cooperated well, proving themselves as the dependable partners of the school; the teachers for their hard work, creativity and adaptability  to the new teaching method; the staff  for being of great assistance; the Executive Committee for their tireless and selfless efforts.

Indeed, the CSI community, with the help of God, measured up to the theme of last school year:  “Raising the Bar of Excellence and Service:  Dare to Step Up,” with the theme verse found in II Timothy 1:7.

As we move to SY 2020-2021, we will face every difficulty and challenge together.  We will overcome, for if God is with us, who can be against us?

This unique time calls for major adjustments in our delivery of quality Christian education to cater to the present needs of students.  Such changes, however, must be aligned with our core commitment to develop each student holistically.  This unprecedented crisis proves the value of such commitment.  We need to prepare students for the ebbs and flows of life—not just academically—as they pursue their future career and life’s calling, and nothing less than a holistic education will get the job done, where the spiritual development of the student is prioritized.

In line with this, we now humbly present to you the plans of CSI for the current school year.

Indeed, the CSI community, with the help of God, measured up to the theme of last school year:  “Raising the Bar of Excellence and Service:  Dare to Step Up,” with the theme verse found in II Timothy 1:7.
